Who can resist great music, nice people and a good time dancing at a honky-tonk bar ? Whether it is modern country - swing dances like the shuffle, the one step and of course the famous two step, Dancing Across Texas is an activity that guarantees a great time.
FOOD
Texas' cuisine is influenced by the cultures of the six different flags that have flown over TEXAS, resulting in a cuisine that is rich in flavors ranging from Tex-Mex, barbecue and chicken fried steak to stews, gumbo, or chili, all reflecting the diversity of its people.
WINE
There are more than 200 wineries throughout TEXAS, many recognized in international wine competitions. Fifteen native species grow here, giving the state of TEXAS the distinction of claiming more native species than anywhere in the world.
TRUTHS ABOUT TEXAS
For all its enormous range of spacem climate, and physical appearance, and for all the complicated, multiple internal squabbles, contentions, and strivings, Texas has a tight cohesiveness, perhaps stronger than any other cultural section of America, Rich Poor, Panhandle, Gulf, city, Country.

Oddly enough, world traveling Texans often tend to identify themselves as TEXAN, rather than as American. That is because, well, we always get treated like celebrities when we do !
